1. Scope & Applicability
This Refund, Cancellation & Return Policy (“Policy”) applies to all orders placed with Veggie Vendor through our website, mobile application, or any other platform.
This Policy is designed in accordance with applicable provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
2. Order Cancellation
2.1 By Customer
Orders may be cancelled only before dispatch without any cancellation charges.
Once the order is dispatched or out for delivery, cancellation requests shall not be accepted.
2.2 By Veggie Vendor
We reserve the right to cancel orders due to:
Product unavailability
Incorrect pricing or technical errors
Suspected fraudulent transactions
Operational limitations
In such cases, a full refund will be processed.
3. Nature of Products
Fruits and vegetables are perishable goods. Due to their nature:
Slight variations in size, weight, color, or freshness are natural and acceptable
Returns are generally not accepted, except in eligible cases mentioned below
4. Refund Eligibility
Refunds or replacements shall be considered only under the following conditions:
Damaged, rotten, or spoiled items delivered
Incorrect product delivered
Missing items in the order
Customers must notify us within 2 hours of delivery with clear photo/video evidence.
5. Non-Refundable Situations
Refund requests will not be entertained in the following cases:
Failure to report within the specified time
Minor quality variations inherent to fresh produce
Change of mind after delivery
Incorrect delivery details provided by the customer
Failed delivery due to customer unavailability
6. Refund Process
All eligible refunds will be processed within 3-4 working days
Refunds shall be issued via:
Original payment method, or
Store credit (if mutually agreed)
Processing timelines may vary depending on banks/payment providers.
7. Replacement Policy
Replacement may be offered at our discretion, subject to product availability
In case replacement is not possible, a refund will be issued
8. Pricing, Fees & Charges
Prices are inclusive/exclusive of applicable taxes as displayed at checkout
Any platform fee or handling charges (if applicable) are non-refundable, unless the order is cancelled by Veggie Vendor
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law:
Veggie Vendor shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our liability shall not exceed the order value of the product in dispute
